Foreword:
This is an open-source licensed app. Special thanks to https://github.com/lamkeewei/SafeEntryLogger for providing a basis for this app. It helps me to save a lot of time and focus on the streamlining features.

Background:
Like it or not, we have to live with SafeEntry, at least for the few coming months. But there are limitations to User Experience for its implementation as a web page. Having to repeatedly scan the same QR code for places that we visit every day and also the trouble for forgetting to check out shows that something has to be done.

Features:

- No more staring at the loading screen
We all have been doing this, just to wait for the "Check In" button to appear and press it. The app automates the pressing so it's faster and we don't look like idiots.

- History
The government wants to know where we have been. And we ourselves should have the information too. The app saves a history of all your check-ins.

- Say Goodbye to Scanning
You got stuck at the entrance. Caught in the middle of a crowd because everyone is trying to grab a view of the tiny QR code at the entrance. Skip the queue, maintain social distancing with the app by saving your frequently-visited locations as favourites.

- One tap check out
Scanning QR code for once is enough, don't do it twice. The app stores the SafeEntry web page so you don't have to scan again to check out.

- Never forget to check out again
The app posts a notification to remind you of checking out.

- Offline check-in
No mobile data? No worries. The app generates a check-in confirmation page so you won't be embarrassingly denied access. Fret not, even then, the visit will be stored locally for future reference.

- Quick Access
The app exploits Android's System features like Settings Tile and Home Screen Widgets so you can check-in faster, even if you are in the middle of using other apps. There's no need to search for the app icon.

- Privacy Assurance
All your personal data and history is stored locally on your device and you have full control over the data. The app does not sneakingly upload your data to the cloud (other than to government's SafeEntry server). You can check the app's source code at https://github.com/IzHoBX/SAVEntry to verify that. If you found a mistake in our code that causes privacy leak, you can let us know in the Github issue tracker.
