Step By Step Guide To Install GoReader Driver Service App using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "GoReader Driver Service App" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

GoReader Driver Service app service is required for C-ONE2 device for processing of card swipes and barcode scans. For a C-ONE2 device with HID read head, the user can configure card format under custom mode to read the Facility Code and Card number. It also provides options such as disabling of Facility Code, Reverse PACS data, and processing of the CSN. For a C-ONE2 device with ASK read head, the user can select either SAM or without SAM option for processing of card swipes. When users invoke the GoReader driver service app, the background service for HID read head OR ASK read head will start automatically. The GoReader driver service app automatically detects if the C-ONE2 device has HID read head or ASK read head. Based on the type of read head detected, background services will start. The default selection of HID read head is “Standard” and for ASK read head is “SAM”.
