As a great consumer of reading throughout my life, on many occasions I find myself in the situation of needing to search for new books, search in dozens of bookstores or have to be guided by the opinion of other readers.

It is usually difficult for me to decide on a recommended book in a store or on the web.
The problem comes when those recommendations are based on the opinions of readers who, in many cases, have nothing in common with me.

As with music or cinema, each reader or viewer has their own criteria for evaluating a work. We agree that in some we can agree the majority, but the average opinion of all readers is not usually very useful when perhaps they do not coincide with half of them.

But what happens when many readers highly value a book or movie that I consider mediocre?
Or vice versa, how many times have they told you that a book that you consider an essential work is boring for them?

For this reason we have created Library - My Used Books. An app that will recommend readings (and later music or cinema) based on the book you choose and that you have rated positively, and showing you the best-rated books from users who have agreed with you on the rating of that book.

You will be able to see the list of those recommendations ordered by the number of users who, having rated the same book as well as you, have rated other books very well.

Those books are the ones that the same user would recommend if you had it in front of you.
Thus, you will only receive recommendations from those who value a literary work like you, or better, so you will have practically guaranteed enjoyment in reading it.

How does My Library work?

To be able to use this app, you only have to register after installing it and, to start adding your books and their evaluation, you must use their ISBN10 or ISBN13 number.

We keep your library in the cloud so you can access it from any device or from the web itself at any time.

Library - My Used Books uses APIs from Amazon Books, Google Books and Goodreads.
We do not yet work with all the book databases that exist, so it may be that some book you are looking for cannot add it.

We work so that this does not happen.
