Origami is a traditional art of folding Japanese paper, which began in the mid-1900s and has evolved into a modern art form. The purpose of this art is to convert paper into fold forms through folding techniques, and thus the use of glue is not required in origami.

The basis of the origami fold is actually simple, but the base folds can be combined with different variations to form a complex fold. Origami has 15 basic shapes, including book base, cup board base, organ base, kite base, diamond base, fish base, and square base.
