In this post, I am going to show you how to install Tanga on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Play Tanga using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Tanga" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

The book "The Journey of Ita" is the adventure of a little girl in the countryside of DR Congo, it is a story illustrated, written and read.

Tanga is intended for children aged 3 to 8 with different grade levels:
- LEVEL 1: Kindergarten (4 pages, simple language)
- LEVEL 2: Kindergarten (6 pages, simple language)
- LEVEL 3: Kindergarten (6 pages, complex language)
- LEVEL 4: Primary 6 to 8 years old (8 pages, complex language)
- LEVEL 5: Primary 6 to 8 years old (10 pages, complex language)

In kindergarten,
Children can listen to the story read, look at the illustrations.
Tanga helps improve understanding of a story:
- Answer the multiple choice questions at the end of the story, namely: who (who are the characters), where (different places in the story), when (one morning ...), how (the stages of the story).
- For kindergarten, we can focus on levels 1 to 3, but we can also start with level 1, then become more complex by changing level (up to 5) to have more characters and details.
- A focus on vocabulary can be made on: animals, landscapes, modes of travel.
- Comment on illustrations to reformulate the story, memorize sentence structures and memorize the vocabulary learned.
In primary,
Children can read a text, listen to the story read, look at the illustrations. This story "The Journey of Ita" also makes it easier to acquire the study of the language:
- Use vocabulary when commenting on illustrations.
- Use vocabulary by reformulating the story.
- Identify sentence structures and repeat them.
- Identify lexical fields: animals, landscapes, modes of travel.
