Doel Sumbang has the real name Abdul Wahyu Affandi (born in Bandung, West Java, May 16, 1963; age 57 years) is a musician from West Java. He started his career in theater at "Braga Theater". Doel Sumbang is also known as a Sundanese musician. He sang songs about life around Sundanese. Doel Sumbang also played several times as a songwriter for a number of singers in Indonesia, such as Ikko, Ita Purnamasari, Yhanti Yuning also in the duet Agnes Monica and Eza Yayang, who at that time was still a child singer on the Yess!
