The SisRural application - Technical Assistance System and Rural and Environmental Extension aims to support public policies for sustainable rural development and environmental preservation, offering a tool for consultation and data collection in the field, application of forms and monitoring of action plans. For use by authorized technicians.

Registration of Producers and Production Units: basis for general registration of producers and production units, with documentary information, land use, rural sanitation, infrastructure, people.

Field notebook: customizable form for quick registration of field visits, with photo collection and file attachment.

Forms: application of customizable forms for data collection and scoring evaluation. Examples: Protocols of Agroecological Transition, Protocols of Good Agro-Environmental Practices, evaluation for the Payments for Environmental Services program, among others.

Individual action plans: from forms, it is possible to generate action plans to comply with predefined recommendations. It is also possible to generate flexible individual plans for technical assistance work.

Collective action plans: elaboration of collective action plans, for registration and monitoring of projects and group actions.

SisRural works online and offline. It was developed by the Connect the Points Project, an initiative of the São Paulo City Hall (PMSP) awarded by the Mayors Challenge of Bloomberg Philanthropies in 2016, which seeks to strengthen agriculture in the southern part of the city to stop the disordered urban expansion and protect environmental areas. The application uses open source and is available for replication by other interested entities.
