Los 40 is a chain of radio stations that was born in Spain in the late 1960s and spread to Latin America. Initially it had the name Los 40 Principales since its programming was dedicated to the elaboration of a list of the most played and requested music by the Mexican youth public.
It is a radio with a youthful attitude, aimed at a young audience of both genres, and with a very informal language of locution. It also promotes various concerts and social events of solidarity in which the value of the tickets goes to local solidarity associations.
