Please don't rate low if you cant hear the calls or have any problem, contact us first, its still a beta release and many things will change before we finally release it. Use email or feedback form in the application to share any issues you might face.

Introduction :

This application is free to use, every calls used in this application is copyrighted to Mr. Viral Joshi, description of a bird is extracted from WikiPedia and link for each article is mentioned on every bird's page. We also have added Oriental Bird Club Image links to easily check images of any bird directly from our application. Many bird photographs are provided by Mr. Tejas Soni and they are copyrighted to him.
Its not a typical bird call application, it has total 309 birds calls with information and few bird's gujarati name is also mentioned in details page. We will add images of birds soon and few calls which are missing right now.

Restrictions :

- Calls can only be heard from "EarPiece", to restrict possible threat to wildlife we have added this restriction, if you are using a phone you'll be able to hear calls only through "EarPiece". After clicking on play button, take device near your ear and the playback will start. If you are using a tablet or device which does not have an EarPiece, you'll hear calls from speaker but at reduced volume and you can't change the volume while you are using the application.

- Our aim to share calls with you is to help you to identify a bird by calls and to expand knowledge of call of birds found in Gujarat, please don't misuse the application.

How to use :

- Smart/Quick filter will filter the list as you type, if you want to search for any Prinia, just type it there and it will show all available calls

- Filters will help you to show specific Family of Genus, when you save the filter, it will always show that list until you clear the filter

- To play a call, simply click on play button and take your phone near your ear, it will start playback. Calls play repeatedly

Issues or Discrepancies :

It might happen the records/details or anything in this application might not match to the correct data (we have taken utmost care yet), we appreciate pointing us to the error rather than being criticized, we'll quickly sort out any such issues once reported

Permissions explained :

Modify or delete content of USB Storage - To store and use bird calls
Full network access - To download bird calls and other files from our server for the first time app is loaded
Pair with bluetooth devices - To restrict playback of calls using BT speakers
Change audio settings - To restrict volume changing while using the application
