Meysam Matiei was born in Iran and is a lecturer at Imam Sadegh University.

Matiei started his first work from the religious meetings of Mojtaba Tehrani. He is one of the founders of the Office for the Preservation and Publication of the Works of Mojtaba Tehrani and was also the first managing director of this institute.

In Nowruz 1397, he established a virtual charity organization called "Misagh Virtual Charity Organization" in a delegation.

Meysam Matiei was admitted to Imam Sadegh University in 2010 in February 2010. In 1994, he defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Quranic Principles and Strategies and Narrations in Facing Insult to the Infallibles" under the guidance of Abbas Maslaei-Pour (associate professor and faculty member of Imam Sadegh University) and was accepted with an excellent grade. In the early months of 2016, he became a member of the faculty of the Faculty of Theology, Islamic Studies and Guidance of this university.
