BPJS Ketenagakerjaan protects workers with a variety of guarantees offered. One of the guarantees includes a solution for future preparation for workers in Indonesia, namely the Old Age Security (JHT). As long as you are still working, you will pay BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and part of it will be saved for JHT funds. Then when you are 56 years old or have worked for 10 years, then you can withdraw JHT.

Previously, JHT could be disbursed 100% between if you were 56 years old, died, had a total disability, moved abroad or experienced a Termination of Employment (PHK) only. But now this Old Age Security Fund can be disbursed not only in this condition, but also in the form of a percentage for pension fund preparation or for housing costs.
