In this post, I am going to show you how to install Xmas Edge Live Wallpaper on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Xmas Edge Live Wallpaper using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

This festive Edge Lighting Live Wallpaper will display a garland animation on the edge of your screen. It can be used for Christmas or Diwali or any other occasion where colorful lights are wanted.

From the app you can choose a custom background from your photos or Dropbox etc. for the animation or let the app utilize your current wallpaper as background (wich can take some time depending on the image size).
And set things like animation speed and animation side (for use with a single edge device like the note edge).

Since this is a Live Wallpaper you will see the Edge Lighting animation just when you see your wallpaper, so on your homescreen and appdrawer. While you don't see it it tries to use as little cpu power as possible.
Also please note that like every Live Wallpaper this Edge Lighting Wallpaper will use more RAM and Battery like a normal non animated wallpaper.
You can install it on a non-edge device like the Galaxy S21 Ultra, S20, S10e or S7 or Note 20 and it will work but for the best effect use a device with edge screen like the Galaxy S family (S6 edge, S7 edge, S8, S9 S10 etc) or the OnePlus 7 pro, OnePlus 8 pro, TCL 10 Pro, Sony Xperia 1.

Please note that this app should work on all common screen sizes but looks best on a device with a edge screen like the Samsung Galaxy Edge devices or the OnePlus 7 Pro, Blackberry Priv and Vivo Xplay 5.
Please consider that if your phone is not listed Xmas Edge Live Wallpaper might not work correctly.
Please also note that your Launcher needs to support Live Wallpapers.
We tested Xmas Edge Lighting Live Wallpaper with Nova Launcher, the Stock Google Launcher, the Stock Sony Launcher and Samsung Touchwiz Launcher, others may not work.
