Baby Guard is a free, offline, and cross-platform application that replaces electronic baby monitors. The app will notify you on your smartphone whenever your baby starts crying.


How does it work?
All you need to do is install the app on any two mobile devices, be it a smartphone or a tablet, and pair them. Put one in the baby’s room as a baby monitor and take the second one with you as a receiver. Let them communicate through the app. You will be notified every time your baby wakes up and starts crying.

The app is free, so you can download it and start keeping an eye on your baby today. You don’t need to buy special devices - with Baby Guard you’ll always have a baby monitor at hand.

SECURE
We protect your privacy. The application works over WiFi, so it uses the local network only. This means your baby’s data isn’t shared with any third-party servers.

CROSS-PLATFORM
Baby Guard works on any device, be it a smartphone or a tablet. They are automatically detected by the app. Additionally, the app is compatible with both Android and iOS.

CRYING BABY ALERT
Your Baby Guard parent device automatically receives a live stream whenever there's noise in the children's room. Thanks to the smart crying baby alert based on Machine Learning, the app doesn’t notify you about any random noises, but recognizes actual crying.


REAL TIME VIEW
You can always check on your baby via real time view. Video and audio of your sleeping baby can be streamed to your parent device any time you like.

MACHINE LEARNING
Users can submit audio recordings of their crying baby to improve the Machine Learning model and help develop the app.

RUNS RELIABLY IN THE BACKGROUND
Baby Guard can run in the background, but your device will be automatically activated from sleep mode if your baby starts crying. Running the app in the background lets you also use your mobile device for other purposes when you need to.

ACTIVITY LOG
Baby Guard provides you with a notification record and shows how long your baby has been sleeping.

OPEN SOURCE
This app is an open source software, so if you have an idea how to improve it, what features could be added, or if there is anything to fix, you’re more than welcome to do it.
