Surat Yusuf: Yusuf is a Meccan surah that was revealed before the emigration of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, to the city. It comes in the twelfth place between the walls of the Noble Qur’an. Fifty-third, according to Badr Al-Din Al-Zarkashi, it was revealed after Surat Hud and before Surat Al-Hijr. Surah Yusuf was called by this name because it dealt with the story of the Prophet of God Joseph, peace be upon him, where God Almighty tells us the story of his prophet Joseph with all its details in one surah. From his brothers, since placing him in the well and leaving him for his family and parents and selling him as a child, to his prison, and the women conspired against him, then he took over the treasures of Egypt, as all these events were followed in succession to their scenes and chapters.
