One of the most popular prayers among Muslims, especially the Shiites, is the Ashura pilgrimage. The Ahlul-Bayt's prophets and those attending the mourning ceremony of Imam Hussein (AS) have undoubtedly recited the Ashura pilgrimage and enjoyed it.


In the narration quoted by Imam al-Baqir (peace be upon him), the consequence of reciting the Ashura pilgrimage after greeting Imam Hussein and two rak'ahs of prayer is that thousands of thousands of people disappear from the believer and rise one thousand thousand degrees. Also, one who reads the pilgrimage to Ashura will be among those who have been martyred in the footsteps of Imam Hussein and share in their degrees, as well as in the greetings of all the prophets, apostles and anyone who has visited Imam Hussein since his martyrdom. As al-Luqa'ah quoted Imam Baqir (as), the fifth Shi'a Imam said after this prayer: "O Alaqa'ah! If you were able to visit Hossein (AS) every day with the pilgrimage to Ashura, do so, so for you is the reward of all this pilgrimage. "


According to the narration quoted by Imam al-Baqir (pbuh) that anyone who visits Imam Hussein on this day (Ashura day) from afar will receive all those near misses.
