'Wolfeckers-DMZ to Berlin Wall'

Walpecker's Inscool is a program that is conducted as part of a social contribution activity, 'The Classroom to Raise the Future,' with Mirae N Co., Ltd., an educational publishing company, and the Ministry of Education.

Walpeckers is a unified educational content developed jointly by Nol Gong and the German Cultural Center in Korea.
'Wolfeckers-DMZ to Berlin Wall' allows you to interactively experience the theme of 'boundary'. Developed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 2019, this game aims to encompass not only the overall similarities but also the differences in the history of the division of Korea and Germany through game elements, especially to strengthen the awareness of the younger generation.

Production Background
Borders exist not only in real space, but also in people's minds. Boundaries separate individuals as well as territories. Examples of the symbol of the past and the present are the Berlin Wall, which collapsed during the Peace Revolution in 1989, and the DMZ, which still divides North and South Korea at the border of 38 degrees north latitude. In the timeline, you can see important events in the history of the two borders.

How to play
During the game, the player becomes a professional journalist and writes a newspaper with news about the DMZ and the Berlin Wall through gamified coverage and editing. Players find interesting topics in the areas of ‘politics’, ‘sports’, ‘culture’, etc., and collect pieces of text from installations in real space to match articles like puzzles.
-Entering the press code: Enter the press code issued by the teacher at Wal-Parkers at school to start the game.
-Writing articles: Participants select the topics and titles they are interested in, find the article elements in the exhibit in accordance with the principles of the sixth, enter them into the app, and then write the article through the fact check.
-Sending articles: After the game is over, you will receive your completed Walleters newspaper by email.
