In this post, I am going to show you how to install ADHD Game on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install ADHD Game using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

This accredited serious game has been developed for general practitioners. The content of the game was developed by Ingrid Rours and Rob Pereira, both pediatricians in the MC Kinderplein in Rotterdam, in collaboration with GP André de Gruijl.

The ADHD game has been developed for GPs to increase knowledge about an ADHD consultation in children and adults.

In practice, the GP is often confronted with questions about child behavior and ADHD. It is often the parents and / or teachers who ask for diagnosis and treatment, and it is also the psychiatrists and pediatricians who request that medication be continued.

There is a lot of social attention for ADHD, especially because there are concerns about possible overdiagnosis and overtreatment of ADHD. On the other hand, it is also possible that the GP does not recognize ADHD (in time). This can cause unnecessary damage to children, which can negatively affect their functioning.

In this game, the GP has a virtual consultation room where the parent and child or adult patient comes to consult with complaints. It is up to the player to take the anamnesis through the correct questions and determine what is going on with the patient. The player stores his findings about the patient in a virtual patient file.

If the player goes through the protocol well, carefully "watches and listens", he will arrive at the correct diagnosis and can decide whether or not to treat or refer. Scores are scored after each correctly answered question. If there are sufficient points, an accreditation point is awarded (cluster ABC 1).
