Parchisi Superstar is an online multiplayer version of popular classic board game Parchis. Pachisi is a cross and circle board game. Parchis board game is a popular in Spain as Parchis and known by different name in other countries. The name of the game is derived from the Hindi word paccīs, meaning "twenty-five", the largest score that can be thrown with the cowrie shells; thus this game is also known by the name Twenty-Five.Chaupar is also called of this game. Parcheesi, Sorry, and Ludo Trouble are among the many Westernized commercial versions of the game. A similar game called Parchís is popular in Spain and northern Morocco.Parqués is its Colombian variant. The Jeu des petits chevaux (Game of Little Horses) is played in France, and Mensch ärgere Dich nicht is a popular German variant.

Parchisi is played with two dice, four pieces per player and a board with a track around the outside, four corner spaces and four home paths leading to a central end space. The most popular Parchis boards in America has 68 spaces around the edge of the board, 12 of which are darkened safe spaces. Each corner of the board contains one player's nest or starting area.
