With the PushToLog-app you can track and log the signal strength of your mobile network (4G/LTE) into a logfile while you are moving. The logfile is used to re-display the results in your map. The logged points are colored by their relative signal strength.

Other mobile networks are expected to be supported (at least 3G).

The app is using the GPS-data provided by Fused Location provider by Google to minimize your battery. But of course your GPS location must be activated.

By enabling the accelerometer sensor, the app can log only when some movement is detected, it is called autolog. You can start it by a long click on the START button.

The app can create a KML-typed log-file as well. By long pressing the SHOW button Google Earth (if installed) will be triggered to show the file. You can also take a tour which replays the logged path.

Another option is to have your map automatically oriented according to your device's orientation to geomagnetic north. In case of trouble, try to calibrate your sensor (check Google Maps how to do it).

To remove any strong deviations in the logged results, two functions are available. You can check certain anomalies and ignore them and you can also smooth out the points to be more in line with their neighbors.

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know, have fun!
