The mission of this blog is to spread the word of God and the good news Jesus Christ brought.
To give maximum understanding of the Holy Scripture, and to make the readers to also find a saving hope through faith in God who is able and sufficient for us. The Holy Bible from the book of Genesis to revelation will be discussed, Genesis which means origin, the beginning of the creation of the universe, the origin of the human race, the beginning of sin and suffering in the world and about Gods way of dealing with humanity.
This blog is a compendium of information through the Bible that will shape our life. The story of the Bible as it was divided into two parts (1) The Old Testament and (2) the New Testament.
In the Old Testament starting from Genesis which was also divided into two parts: (a) the creation of the world and the early history of the human race ( e.g, the accounts of Adam and his wife Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah and his Ark with flood, and towards the end, tower of Babylon). (b) the history of the early ancestors of the Israelites.
As we can see through this books in the Old Testament that it tells story about how people lived their lives, it is also an account of what God has done that should stand as a guide for us today. The Old Testament begins with the affirmation 'God created the universe and end with a promise that God will continue to show his concern for his people'. We can also see that the main character throughout the book was God; he judge and punish offenders, leads and help his people and shape their lives.
Finally, the ancient book was written to record the story of people's faith and to help keep that faith alive.
The New Testament on the other part, deal with the good news based on the faith of the partriach in the Old Testament of Jesus Christ who is the Saviour of the future of Israelites and the Gentiles. God fulfilled his promises he made with his people in the Old Testament through the coming of Jesus Christ. The good news is for everyone through out the world, not only for the Jews whom Jesus was born and lived. The New Testament end with promise that a new heaven and a new helper will be sent to us.
Therefore, we shall present to our dear readers who devote their time to read and digest our post, the word of God and every other things that can help them in this journey of life.
In conclusion according to the 2nd president of the united states of America, Mr John Adams, ''The Bible makes the best people in the world". Rev. Billy Graham said, "The greatest evangelist in the world is the published Word of God. Where there is the Bible, there either is or will soon be a Church"
