From the trembling voice of an electrician by profession, a new radio was born in Bissau, emerging from a progressive, reformist, modern vision and the determined inspiration of a Guinean journalist, flanked by others and many visionary radio men.

It was on March 6, 2015, on Friday, at 1:56 pm, that we experienced what promises to be a reference station in Guinea-Bissau.

Capital FM - Rádio Notícias, presents itself as a radio station idealized in the logic of an intervening instrument in the sphere of development, respect for human values and citizenship, democracy and combating obscurantism, thus forming an enlightened and balanced public opinion.

We assume as one of several Mass Media institutions fighting for the culture of peace and citizenship in Guinea-Bissau. We want to be present, as well as the others, who launched themselves on the ground and did a lot for a “socialized” society. We want to be different, for the positive, as we aim to be the reference of a new era of making radio. A radio aimed at journalism of rigor and professional honesty. A radio that reflects the reality of a country with a bright future. Yes, a country with a lovely future, as long as each and every one in their area does something positive.

We are a generation of young professionals, with a unique mission of establishing new values and a new paradigm in the Guinean Social Communication sphere. And for which, we count on you and a lot.
