The NW Tides app will carry 3 separate products that contain tidal daily movements for a 12 month period in 2020. The tidal information ranges across the North West of Western Australia from Wyndham, Derby and Broome in the Kimberley to Port Hedland, Port Walcott and the Dampier Archipelago in the Pilbara.

Each tidal area is contained separately making it very user friendly to the specific location they are requiring tide times information from. Tidal movements in the North West can be massive and water users need to be very mindful of this. The information provided also details local fishing species, stairway to moon viewing dates, safety information from port authorities, maps, information on local attractions associated with our coastline activities, licencing requirements, cyclone awareness information and much more. There are a number of local supporting businesses showcasing their products or services all wrapped up in a neat comprehensive package.

The 3 booklets are titled by the local communities as the “fishers/boaties bible”. The app now available for Android is the natural extension of these booklets and a digital replica of each booklet. Hard printed copies were delivered via the local newspapers to our communities and to advertisers. Copies are available from each of the newspaper offices and some selected outlets.
