techliv HV tester is a new concept in checking the presence of Live Electricity. This uses the mic input of a mobile phone, to sense the presence of Power Frequency (50Hz or 60Hz), measure it, and to provide an approximate estimate of electric field caused by nearby electric conductors.
This is useful in two sectors, one being consumers for using in their day to day activities relating to Electricity, and two for Electric workers for safely checking if any live points present in HT line/switches/circuit brakers, before contacting with them.
