Ashura pilgrimage, a Shi'ite pilgrimage to Imam Hussein's (AS) pilgrimage and his companions, and a reminder of the Ashura event, especially on Ashura. This pilgrimage is quoted by Imam Muhammad Baqir (AS) and is of great importance to the Shia.

There are some traditions about the reading of the Ashura pilgrimage by the innocent. In the narration quoted by Imam al-Baqir (peace be upon him), the consequence of reciting the Ashura pilgrimage after greeting Imam Hussein and two rak'ahs of prayer is that thousands of thousands of people disappear from the believer and rise one thousand thousand degrees. The person who reads this pilgrimage will be one of those who have been martyred in the footsteps of Imam Hussein and who share in their rank, as well as in the salutations of all the prophets, apostles and anyone who has visited Imam Hussein since his martyrdom. As al-Luqa'ah quoted Imam Baqir (as), the fifth Shiite imam said after the pilgrimage: "O Alaqa'ah! If you could make a pilgrimage to Hossein (AS) everyday with this pilgrimage, do so, so for you is the reward of all this pilgrimage. "

One of the narrators of the pilgrimage to Ashura, Aliqmah, asked Imam Baqir (AS): "It is a sacrifice for one who is in the cities far away from Karbala and on such a day (Ashura day) it is not possible for him to go to the grave of the Prophet. What are the benefits of going slow? The Prophet replied: I guarantee that anyone who visits Imam Hussein on this day (with the pilgrimage of Ashura and observance of its rituals) will be given all those near misses.
