BASIC LR for Nurses is a course developed by the BASIC Collaboration and Medecins Sans Frontieres.
It seeks to improve the care of critically ill patients in low resource systems.
The course runs for 3 or 4 days and consists of course manuals, clinically-based interactive lectures, skill stations and pre- and post-course tests.
The course works on a cascading model with local instructors delivering the content after appropriate training. We also provide a mobile app which works offline (after downloading).
