Digital Learning LMS

Problem:
PTCL has different training material for their employees. However, monitoring and assessing these trainings are not standardize with any central mechanism.

Solution:
PTCL require a Digital learning LMS with capabilities of integrating multiple/different types of training courses. Which also assess the user progress and assessment and generate customized reports. Apps/Courses can be integrated for different type of audience (for field employees and corporate sector), LMS should be able to create courses catalogue according to their user type.

These requirements will be achieved by first creating by central digital learning mobile app, which enables users to login and view courses according to their user type. Digital training content will be hosted on cloud-based platform and will be available to stream via mobile device from anywhere. By establishing that, we will embed previously created EHS 2.0 App into this new Digital learning App and all future apps/courses like PTCL Value app will be required to embed in the same app.

Secondly, creating a web-based Admin Portal, which will allow admins/Managers or respective users to view progress and assessment of particular user or User group, Particular course, department and etc. It will also allow you to add and remove users and change their types. The portal will also allow you to generate customized reporting.

1. Courses

LMS will have functionality to view/change course content saved on cloud. Courses can be created based off templates that can be reused.

Curriculum monitoring and planning

Curriculum monitoring refers to the ability of the platform to be able to manage multiple courses, as a basis of search, navigation, assessment and learner tracking. This will include the ability to customise courses, course assignment to the target audience. The learners (target audience) would be able to view these courses on their mobile app.

Reporting and Notifications

Managers will be able to generate reports on courses assessment, type, audience type, course progress, gender, department or any other kind of data that is provided. Managers will also be able to generate these reports and save them into PDF format or directly email to concerned people to view in PDF format.

Notifications regarding new courses being added, or a course completion etc will be send via push notifications to the user.

Content Creation & management

Content creation & management includes the storage at web end and delivery of digital learning resources via mobile platform. They include run-time interactions of the platform with the content, plus content editing and Updating. The content creation platform will be accessible to PTCL Managers and third-party (outside vendors)

2. Graphical dashboards (Usability)

We provide graphical tile-based dashboards for learners, instructors and administrators, which allows users to get access to the most important information for each user type.

3. Learning paths & Assessment

LMS will provide option to create learning paths based on their audience. Learner can search courses using keywords (you have to provide key words, tags along with all courses) You would be able to add different level of courses in related learning path, based on course difficulty level and monitor learning path (Can be department wise like i.e marketing courses) progress.
