Step By Step Guide To Install Flat Frame for Astrophotography using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. 1. After taking the photo, do not move you lens or telescope
2. Open the Flat Frame app on you phone or table.
3. Cover the front of your lens or telescope with the screen of your phone or tablet.
4. Properly expose the photo so it is neither overexposed or underexposed.
5. Take several flat frames and done.
6. After done with taking flat frame, exit out the app otherwise the app will keep the screen on forever.
