GoStop is a famous Korean classic card game using 48 card deck decorated with oriental flowers and natures.
Historian says that it was originated from Japanese card game named 'Hanafuda' translated as 'flower cards'.
And, Hanafuda itself was a card game which was inspired by a set of Hombre (48-card Portuguese) playing cards from Europe.
In 15th century, sailers of Portuguese missionary ship brought this card game into Japan.
In the middle of 19th century, Hanakuda landed in Korean peninsula, then continuously evolved to several card games.
Among these variants, GoStop game was the most well-known card game.
And, GoStop became an unique culture in ordinary Korean society.
