In this post, I am going to show you how to install USSD Checker on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install USSD Checker using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "USSD Checker" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Majority of mobile providers allow their customer to check their balance, available free minutes, SMS, remaining internet traffic, etc. via USSD requests. Traditionally this service is free of charge.

This application allows to find out USSD requests supported by your provider and setup their auto refresh schedule to always have important for you information on the screen of your device using set of nice customizable widgets.

USSD requests can also be used to check remaining money on your bank accounts, information about interest amount on your credit, etc (information about such service you can get in your bank). Such USSD requests are also supported by the application.

The application allows:
- select from the application catalog or input manually USSD requests, which return data you are interested in;
- setup schedule for selected USSD requests (time schedule, auto requests after selected events like inbound / outbound calls / SMS) or send USSD requests by click on the widget;
- select data from the USSD responce to be shown on the widget (several nice customizable widgets are available);
- collect and display some statistic (your last balance change, this day expense, this month expence, etc );
- supports parsing of USSD messages, which may send your mobile provider after each call (if such service is on);
- supports parsing of SMS, sent by mobile providers in response to your USSD request
