How Butterfly Match works is quite simple...

Click START on the first screen to start this butterfly game for kids.

You will see an 10X10 matrix of mixed up butterfly icons overlayed on top of a cartoonish background. The butterfly icons are secretly matched. Your task it discover all the matches. To discover a match, just tap on two similar icons. If you've found a match, a green line connecting the two icons will briefly appear and the pair will disappear from the matrix. Your goal is to make all butterfly icons disappear before the end of the round you are playing in.

The duration of the first round is 120 seconds. Each consecutive round is shorter by 10 seconds. So the second round would be 110 seconds, the third 100 seconds and so on. The maximum number of rounds is 12 but be aware that it may not be possible to complete a game in 70 seconds or less, even for an experienced player.

How do you know which butterfly icons are matched? Butterfly Match makes it easy to guess. Only similar icons can be matched. You can't match two different butterfly icons. Icons squarely next to each other are more likely to be matched than diagonal ones or ones that are separated by other icons. This rule relaxes as the game progresses. Butterfly Match gives you two tools to help you win the round, if time gets tight. Tap the REFRESH button, bottom left, to reshuffle the butterfly icons so that more matched icons can be next to each other. Use the FIND button, bottom right, to eliminate up to 3 connected butterfly icon pairs. You can use this feature at any time but it's in a best interest to use it as a last resort. When a round's over, a window will pop up indicating either Success or Failure, and the time it took you to complete the round. Anything less than the duration of the round, is a success.
