Dear Colleagues!

Once again, the most it organized among Polish neurologists event - downhill Polish Neurological Society. After more than 30 years of downhill again will be held in Gdansk 11-14 October 2017 year in the conference center AMBEREXPO

The idea of this meeting is to present the achievements of Polish scientific centers, exchange of experience, presentation of the latest research findings and advances in neuroscience and related fields. I encourage you not only to neurologists from academia to submit works for oral presentations and poster (the date is given on the website of the exit), but also the work carried out in the student scientific circles.

Congress is also a place aimed at both residents and specialists in educational activities, which will offer a rich program (workshops, meetings with experts, satellite sessions).

The idea behind the convention is also the integration of Polish centers, establishment of cooperation, the integration of Polish neurologists scattered around the world. Many prominent Polish specialists working in the great centers sometimes, I address an invitation to share their experiences, scientific developments, with hope for fruitful cooperation in the future. Guests will also exit outstanding foreign experts. He confirmed their participation m. In. President of the European Academy of Neurology - prof. Günther Deuschl.

As in previous years during the inaugural session will be awarded prizes (Babinski's name, and the prize Jakimowicz "Presidential"), which rules can be found on the congress, as well as on the website of PTN.

We will continue the humanistic tradition of our meetings by organizing once again a session of Neurology and art, and for the first time history of neurology.

Congress is also a General Meeting of Delegates and the election of the new government company. This is a very important moment in the life of PTN, determining the role and importance of our organization. I encourage you to take seriously the choice of delegates. Our Society is the only representation of Polish neurologists, whose importance both in Poland and internationally depends only on us.

Congress is also a meeting place for old friends, the opportunity to meet new people, to establish friendship and cooperation. Gdańsk is a very attractive town with beautiful old town, rich in cultural and restaurant facilities, which may encourage a longer stay after the end of the congress.
