Radio CBN Rattlesnake is another initiative of Jacy Scanagatta group. The CBN - Brazilian Central News is part of the Globe Communication System, the first all news radio Cascavel, broadcasting 24 hour news.

Radio CBN has dozens of affiliates and about 200 journalists across the country. The CBN is the largest radio with exclusive coverage of the affairs of Brazil and the world, with a unique style of programming.

The CBN Cascavel is directed by Valdomiro Cantini, journalist and broadcaster with over 25 years of experience. Local programming can be given from Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 12pm.

Investment in production of news on the radio has become a priority for Radio Globo system, leading to the creation of the CBN - Brazilian Central News, along the lines of the best news agencies.

The CBN is now the largest network of stations all news, which broadcasts via satellite 24 hours journalism. Created on October 1, 1991, the CBN is present in major cities and capitals such as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Brasilia. With more than 200 journalists around the country, the radio plays news focuses on the main national and international affairs, with its own and unique style of programming.

Early in its history, CBN was present at Rio 92 conference. Flashes produced live from a studio mounted in Riocentro - headquarters of the main events, and transmit reports directly from Flamengo Park, where the tents of the Global Forum were assembled.

Also during 1992, the CBN accompanied decisive moments in the country's politics, transmitting the testimony in the PC Farias CPI, as the driver Eriberto França, a key witness in the case which resulted in the impeachment of President Fernando Collor.

The best moments of the games that led Brazil to the fourth title of the World Cup in 1994, were also broadcast live on CBN, thrilling nationwide. In Sao Paulo, the station operated only in AM, earning from November 1995 a place on the dial of the FMs, which earned him an honorable mention for being the first news station in the city of FM by the Paulista Association of Art Critics. The Association also chose CBN as the best news coverage 1996.

The year 1997 marked a new phase of CBN. A major overhaul in its program schedule came to reinforce the concept of national broadcasting network, increase the number of affiliates and posiocionar the radio medium in the advertising market.

The new programming of CBN is allowing listeners instant access to news from other cities where the network is present, becoming a national integration tool.
