In this post, I am going to show you how to install ADB Toggle (ROOT/USB) on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install ADB Toggle (ROOT/USB) using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

ADB Toggle is a security tool that allows you to toggle the USB debug settings. You can toggle with the homescreen widget or use the automatic mode. In the automatic mode the USB debug settings will be disabled when you unplug your phone (or turn off your screen), and is only enabled again after you have unlocked your screen.

Additionally there's also a reboot feature that lets you boot your phone into recovery or bootloader mode, or perform normal/fast reboots.

Please be aware that the automatic mode is not available in the free version! You have to buy the license key to unlock this feature!

ADB Toggle will only work on a rooted phone! Once the app has installed itself as system application then root access is no longer needed.
