The history of the National Congress of Realtors - CONACIS comes down on all the achievements made and maintained to date by category.

Held in 1957 in Rio de Janeiro, the 1st CONACI came when a group of 6 realtors unions existing in the country at the time, felt the need to regulate the profession.

On the occasion of the 2nd CONACI, held in São Paulo, the class celebrated the first professional regulation. After this time, all the achievements of the category started discussions, proposals and theses in CONACIS as:

- The approval of the curriculum of the technical course in real estate transactions, a fact that was the basis for the 2nd regulation, celebrated on the 9th CONACI in São Paulo, in 1978.

- The change of the union framework of the professional category.

- The creation of the National Federation of Real Estate Brokers-FENACI.

- The need for regulation of property valuation by the Federal Council of Realtors.

At the end of each Congress and drafted a letter, which reflects all the events that took place and proposals the authorities and society. Among them: The need for more attention to housing issue as in 2002, the creation of a ministry to take care of housing and sanitation.
