The MyIPM-SEP app provides Integrated Pest Management (IPM) information to conventional and organic producers of blueberries and strawberries in the southeastern United States. The welcome screen allows the user to select the fruit. The main screen lets the user choose between insects or diseases through a series of images. The user may also choose insect or disease from the dropdown menu. By selecting ‘Summary/Gallery/More’ it opens the summary page, which provides an overview and a short 2 to 3 minute audio from a regional expert. The GALLERY features up to six pictures of the selected insect or disease signs. The user can zoom in on an image by tapping and spreading with two fingers, In the MORE section, the user can find information about the insect or disease, Chemical Control information, Resistance in the eastern U.S., and Non-Chemical Control information (including Biological Control Options, and Cultural Control Options).

Back on the main page, underneath “summary/Gallery/More are links to Active Ingredients and Trade Names for the featured insect or disease. Active Ingredients are color-coded according to IRAC groups. Efficacy values from the regional spray guide as well as Field Environmental Impact Quotient (EIQ) values from the Cornell IPM Program are listed and can be obtained by sliding the right half of the table. IRAC groups, Efficacy and Field EIQ values are sortable. When tapping an active ingredient in the left column, a new table appears listing the registered Trade Names that contain the selected active ingredient. Back on the main page, tapping Trade Names displays all available products for the selected insect or disease for conventional and organic production separately. Also featured in the sliding table are the Active Ingredient, Rate/Acre, PHI, REI, and Field EIQ values. Again, all components in the sliding table are sortable. In order to quickly display Active Ingredients and Trade names for a specific insect or disease, the user can choose from the dropdown menu on the right.
