Novel about the famous detective Sherlock Holmes "Valley of Fear" is one of the best detective works of world famous English writer Arthur Conan Doyle.

With our app you can read the book as an ordinary printed edition, leafing through the pages. Our book does not require additional software - "newsreaders".
So you can customize the display of text in the book itself. Change font size, line spacing, choose any font color or switch modes - "day", "night".

In the first part of Sherlock Holmes receives a letter from an encrypted improvised Professor Moriarty, Porlock, stating that planning an attack on a Mr. Douglas. Five minutes later, the house on Baker Street comes Scotland Yard Inspector MacDonald and informs that Mr. Douglas was killed on his estate. Holmes story seems interesting, and he takes on the case. After examination of the crime scene and interviewing witnesses Holmes concludes that killed Mr. Douglas did not, and those who wanted to kill him. The second part describes what Birdy Edwards of Pinkerton detective from under
name McMurdo came to town Vermissu to infiltrate a gang of "cleaner", along with the former Masonic lodge, and destroy it. He manages all, but after that several members of the gang are on the loose, and Birdie Edwards runs under the name of Douglas.
Despite the successful completion of the story, Edwards and can not escape: he dies, but at the hands of assassins Professor Moriarty.
