Klagenfurt app: City-Info's and augmented reality navigation for pedestrians, through Klagenfurt. The app informs users with diverse information about the state capital. With the new app, both locals and tourists get information about the city, as well as information on areas such as "points of interest", shops, catering establishments, hotels and events.
The app was developed by Webwerk, in cooperation with the city of Klagenfurt and Carinthia University of Applied Sciences.

The app includes general information as well as the "Citizens wire". This feature allows the app-users a direct "line to city policy." This allows users to quickly report your concerns and desires, including the option photo and location online.
More content of the app are the functions of "points of interest", shops, catering establishments, hotels and events. The content could be represented in different map views. About the current location data, the own position is also displayed in the cards. A prerequisite for the presentation of the data is an Internet connection.

In addition, the city of Klagenfurt app, pedestrians provides a clear Nagivation. Shops, hotels, cafes and attractions to be found easily. Sets the smartphone users towards the ground, a virtual arrow appears with direction to the desired destination. Rotates the app-user, the device towards the horizon, all selected destinations are suitable for the current compass direction with distances indicated (augmented reality function). In addition, a radar shows all destinations at a glance.
