This is the result of a 1st year physics project at Imperial College London
In this N-body galaxy simulation, using the Barnes-Hut algorithm, and incorporating dark matter, the idea is to play around with different parameters that influence the code such as :
- theta value in the algorithm
- number of stars
- size of stars
- galaxy distribution parameter
- space & time scales
- dark matter concentration parameter
- dark matter characteristic density
- galaxy radius

All coding was done with Processing.
