Step By Step Guide To Install Safe Patient Handling using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. The Safe Patient Handling (SPH) mobile medical application shall provide the ability to document each safety check or other nursing routines that are performed at multiple intervals to improve the ease and accuracy of charting (turning, toileting, restraints, safety rounds, etc.). This information shall be included with recording patient care. Improving progress notes to show that everything was completed may also be used to display nursing time and effort. These checks will be sent to a CPRS progress note through the VA Mobile Health Adapter at the end of a specified period of time.
