• A quick view of what is planted where in the garden, arboretum or allotment
• No network coverage or Wifi needed
• Free for up to 30 plants.
• An easy way of maintaining and viewing up-to-date records on each individual plant in the garden; soil and water requirements, height, spread, country of origin, flowering season, hardiness, planting date, where it was bought, observations, etc.
• An easy-to-use reference for garden jobs to do: which plants need moving, planting, removing?

Plant data can be entered directly into the Plant Recorder, or it can be imported from and exported to a variety of data bases and applications.

All plant information is stored locally, on the mobile device. Privacy is guaranteed.

Please note that the Plant Recorder is NOT a garden design package. It also does NOT help with plant identification.

Are you a keen hobby gardener or professional horticulturist who wants to know what is planted in a particular spot in the garden, even when the plant has retired below ground for the winter? Or maybe you have a National Plant Collection and it is essential that you know the exact plant location of each species or cultivar you grow? Do you keep careful planting plans, but they are never quite up-to-date? And they are never to hand when you need them?

The PlantRecorder app was written by a keen gardener and engineer for exactly those reasons! Wouldn’t it be nice if I could keep my plant records on my phone instead of having to bother with notebooks, spreadsheets and CAD drawings? They would always be to hand when I am out in the garden, quick to update, and all the information I want is in a single place. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Yes, it is! The PlantRecorder has simplified my record keeping in the garden hugely!
