Step By Step Guide To Install Teach Me Fluid Management using BlueStacks

Are you a healthcare professional who works with patient intravenous fluid therapy within a hospital setting? This application is a pocket guide to adult & paediatric intravenous fluid therapy based upon current medical opinion.

Although the solutions listed are only a selection from a wide range of fluids produced by Fresenius Kabi, you will find that this guide covers most areas of clinical application.

Adult fluid therapy subsections include: Classification of Intravenous Fluids, Intravenous and Irrigation Solutions, Hypovolaemic Shock, Burns (Resuscitation), Before Surgery, During Surgery/Replacement, After Surgery, Maintenance Therapy, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Prolonged Labour, Resuscitation for Post-Partum Haemorrhage, Osmotic Diuretic and Notes on Acidosis.

Paediatric fluid therapy subsections include: Paediatric Intravenous Fluid Indications, Paediatrics Fluid Resuscitation, Neonatal Maintenance, Paediatric Maintenance, The Child with Gastroenteritis, Paediatric Burns, Paediatric Diabetic Ketoacidosis.

An Algorithm for Perioperative Fluid Administration in Adults is available on the application, which has been aligned to local clinical practice. The algorithm uses clinical markers such as MAP and SVV, amongst other, to help ascertain whether fluid therapy and/or vasopressor is required.

An adjusted & ideal body weight calculator is also built into the application for easy calculation of the volume of fluid your patient requires.

Fluid composition tables are available to view the components of each intravenous solution. These are listed along with product registration numbers, and the volume that the solution is available in.
