Content of Surah Al-Waqi'ah
In the "History of the Qur'an", Ibn Nadim is quoted as saying: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is the forty-fourth surah that was revealed to the Holy Prophet (PBUH), before that Surah Taha, and after that Surah " have been.
This surah, as its tone shows, and the commentators have also stated, was revealed in "Mecca", although some have said that verses 81 and 82 were revealed in "Medina", but, a reason for this statement in There is no hand, and there is no evidence in the verses for this claim.
Surah Al-Waqi'ah, as its name implies, speaks of the Day of Resurrection and its characteristics, and this meaning is the main issue in all 96 verses of the Surah, but from one point of view, the content of the Surah can be summarized in eight sections:
1- The beginning of the resurrection and its simultaneous hard and terrible events.
2- Grouping people on that day, and dividing them into "Ashab al-Yamin", "Ashab al-Shamal" and "Muqarbin".
3- A detailed discussion of the "close authorities" and their various rewards in heaven.
4- A detailed discussion about the second group, namely, the "Companions of the Righteous" and the types of divine gifts upon them.
5. A considerable discussion about the "Companions of the North" and their painful punishments in Hell.
6- Mentioning various reasons for the issue of resurrection by expressing the power of God, and the creation of man from a small seed, and the manifestation of life in plants, and the rain, and the light of fire, which are also considered signs of monotheism.
7- A drawing of the state of mourning and transfer from this world to another world, which is also one of the preconditions for resurrection.
8- Another overview on the reward and punishment of the believers and the disbelievers, and finally the Surah ends with the name of the Almighty Lord. (Tafsir Numoneh, vol. 23, p. 205

Works and blessings of Surah
1) Eliminate poverty and misery
Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqi'ah every night, no misery or hardship will befall him.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: Teach Surah Al-Waqi'ah to your wives; Because that surah is needless.
An interesting story is told about Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud: Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud, the great companion of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, fell ill. The caliph of the time, Uthman bin Affan, visited him and saw sadness and worry on his face. He asked her: Why are you upset and sighing and moaning?
He said: I am a sinner. He asked: What do you want? He said: God's mercy, he asked: Do you need a doctor?
He said: The real doctor has made me sick.
He asked: Do you want me to help you financially?
He said: You did not give it when I needed it and now I do not need it.
Othman said: I will give money for your daughters. Ibn Mas'ud said: They do not need it. Because I have told them to always recite Surah Al-Waqi'ah, which they will never need.
2) Blessing
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: If they write Surah Al-Waqi'ah and leave it at home, it will increase goodness and blessings, and whoever continues to recite it, poverty will be removed from him and there will be increased preservation, success, and There is space in the property.
3) Popularity
Imam Sadegh (as) has said: Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqi'ah every Friday night, God loves him and makes him beloved by all people, and he will never be afflicted with sorrow, poverty, misery and plague in the world. He will be one of the companions and comrades of the Commander of the Faithful. And this surah is for Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (as) and no one participates in it.
4) Ease of death and forgiveness of the dead
It has been narrated from Imam Sadiq (as): Surah Al-Waqi'ah has many benefits and benefits that cannot be counted. One of the benefits of this surah is that if it is recited for a dead person, God will forgive him, and if it is recited for a person who is mourning and dying, the death and departure of his soul will be facilitated by God's permission.
