Before the victory of the revolution, these songs were composed by fans of various political tendencies, and many of them were recorded as amateurs in underground, home studios and made available to the public on cassette tapes. Many of these songs are widely broadcast on the anniversary of the revolution in their original form or by re-broadcast on Iranian radio and television, and are performed by students in schools as part of the Fajr Decade celebrations.
