Al-Ibanah An Ushulid Diyanah - Abul Hasan Al-Ash'ari

Kitab al-Ibanah 'an Usul al-Diyanah was charged as a hujjah for the wahabi group which said that the thought of al-Imam Abu al-Hassan al-Ash'ari through three phases of development in his life. It must be admitted, that al-Imam Abu al-Hassan al-Ash'ari in the book of al-Ibanah and some other books were also attributed to him following a methodology that was different from the books that he had authored.

In the book of al-Ibanah, al-Imam Abu al-Hassan al-Ash'ari follows the tafwidh methodology followed by the majority of scholars' Salaf relating to verses mutasyabihat. Based on this, some groups understand that al-Imam Abu al-Hassan al-Ash'ari has actually abandoned his second school, the Ibn Kullab school, and is now turning to the Salaf methodology.
