The A.C. Coiano Santa Lucia A.S.D. was born in 2001 from the merger of two historic amateur football clubs from Prato: Coiano and Santa Lucia.
Among its ranks have played internationally renowned talents such as the World Champion Paolo Rossi (Honorary President of the Company), Christian Vieri, Alessandro Diamanti and Gianmarco Vannucchi.
The President, Roberto Macrì, comes from the world of volunteering and is assisted not only by the Vice President Francesco Golfieri by a Board of Directors characterized by professionally trained figures and able to support the football club in all its articulated and complex activities, not only sports .
The Company carries out its business in the "Vittorio Rossi" Sports Facility - Viale Galilei 146 Prato (PO), which is one of the best equipped and most prestigious in the City of Prato.
In past years, thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Prato, the second grandstand was fitted with a roof and thus making the facility the only one to have two grandstands, both of which are covered, with two synthetic sports fields.
In August 2015, the main court underwent a major renovation. Removed the old one, a latest generation synthetic membrane was installed.
In December 2016, thanks to the synergy between our technicians, the Giannini Company, INTEC, Chianti Banca, the Tuscany Region and the Municipality of Prato, the central sports ground of the A.C. Coiano Santa Lucia A.S.D. it is the first plant in Tuscany and among the first in Italy to be equipped with a LED lighting system.
In the Company's programs there are further important investments: a CLUB HOUSE with restaurant and pizzeria will be created, the second synthetic pitch will be redeveloped (two 7-a-side synthetic grass pitches and two 5-a-side artificial grass pitches with pressostatic coverage will be built by the Municipality of Prato ), locker rooms, warm-up and training areas and offices.
The Company, which has about 450 members among Amateurs, Youth Sector, Elite Soccer School, Coaches and Managers, has always been with its representatives, among the protagonists of the regional championships, all this thanks to well-built squads and the contribution of technicians qualified and experienced.
