To become a premier experience for preservation of military and civilian aviation, S.T.E.M. education, and military appreciation.

Aviation is a major part of the community we live in. For over 75 years, the legacy of aviation has permeated throughout many facets of our daily lives. The transition from a rural suburb of Atlanta to a thriving enclave of modernity, due its own identity, is built upon this legacy. For Marietta, Cobb County, and the surrounding area, aviation has meant global recognition and immeasurable impacts locally.

In consideration of its collective value, the preservation of this legacy is a compliment to the community, but also a necessity for future generations to understand the foundation of the local region. The museum is an economic engine for the area and contributes significantly to the quality of life for local residents. The Aviation History & Technology Center is built for the community, about the community, and by the community.

Although in its infancy, The Aviation & History Technology Center is not destined to be a museum of yesterday’s design. It is developing as a premier experience capable of demonstrating the importance of history, aviation, S.T.E.M., and military appreciation to a 21st century audience and beyond.
