Step By Step Guide To Install Philips Health band using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. The Philips Health band (PHB) mobile application displays Bluetooth data acquisition from the PHB wrist-worn wearable medical device. Data includes energy expenditure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and sleep metrics. Patients wearing the device may provide feedback through the application’s patient reported outcomes (PRO) feature.
The mobile app can be configured to enable data visibility for patient engagement or can be blinded for research purposes. Data is delivered to the Philips Actigraphy Server System (PASS) web application in real time (upon sync) for study team and/or clinician access and assessment. Data can be analyzed using aggregated statistical reports per participant or per study, 30 seconds epoch scored sleep/wake reports, 60 seconds epoch data list reports and participant scheduled and unprompted feedback reports.
