In this post, I am going to show you how to install AGGAS 2.0 on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install AGGAS 2.0 using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "AGGAS 2.0" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

The Subjective Global Nutrition Assessment (AGGAS) is a modification of the Subjective Global Nutrition Assessment (SGNA) which was originally developed from the Subjective Global Assessment (SGA). SGNA is an assessment tool for detecting malnutrition in children, especially in clinical settings and has been published by Secker JD and Jeejebhoy KN in The Journal of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (JAND) in 2012. SGNA is also recommended to be used to evaluate malnutrition status within 7 years. -10 days after the nutritional intervention.
AGGAS consists of 7 assessments related to medical history and 3 assessments related to physical examination with a total of 18 questions.
The 7 assessments related to medical history are:
- suitability of actual TB according to age or linear growth (HA or Height Age), 3 questions
- Suitability of actual weight according to actual TB (BBI), 1 question
- Change in BB, 3 questions
- Adequate food intake, 3 questions
- Gastrointestinal symptoms, 2 questions
- Functional abilities, 2 questions
- Metabolic stress disease, 1 question
3 assessments related to physical examination
- Losing subcutaneous fat, 1 question
- Lose muscle mass, 1 question
- Edema related to nutrition, 1 question
Determination of malnutrition conditions from AGGAS using a scoring system. All NORMAL answers have a score of 0, the answer is MEDIUM a score of 1 and the answer is a WEIGHT score of 2. The total sum of the scores is classified according to:
Score 0-7 is normal condition or not malnourished
A score of 8-14 is mild malnutrition
A score of 15-21 is Moderate Malnutrition
A score of 22-28 is moderate to severe malnutrition
A score of 29-36 is Severe Malnutrition
