Ever wondering if perfect pitch can be trained? Yes, it can !

This app is developed to help users to train their ears and brain to identify and distinguish between the pitch in the sound of single notes between the 2nd to the 6th Octave.

In the Practice Mode, user can listen to the selected notes on its own, as well as a well known Classical piano piece that begins distinctively with that note. While listening repeatedly between the note and the Classical piano piece, the user can gradually establish the neural net required on the brain and improve on the ability to identify the note. The Classical piano piece is also identified with its title and composer to expand the user's knowledge in Classical music.

In the Test Mode, user is being tested with playing of a single note and is prompted to answer what is the note in the question. User has the option to play the note repeatedly to affirm on his/her response before providing the answer. After answer, the result is populated to provide information on how well the user has done on this current question as well as all historical averages on this note. Information such as the total number of times tested with this note, overall accuracy, the reaction time to respond, the number of times listening to the note before an answer can be provided, and the number of error in semitones between the question and the answer are collected over time and are presented upon answering. A symbol will also be shown to indicate where metrics are improved in current answer comparing to the overage average. The option to listening to the same note and the Classical piano piece is also available upon answering.

In the Statistics Mode, user can review the data collected within the Test Mode. Statistics can be displayed under sorting per user's desired metrics (Total, Accuracy, Reaction Time, Listened Times and Semitone Error) and sorting order (Best on Top, Worst on Top, Notes in Order) to analyze on, in order to identify which are the notes that they perform worse comparing to the other notes which they can work harder on. User can listen to the note immediately from a long press on the table. Also, a statistics reset option is also available to reset everything to zero for a new round of data capturing from Test Mode.
