NADO indicates the prescription and reimbursement of incretin drugs and inhibitors of the sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 according to the algorithm obtainable from the AIFA Database and Registers and Determination.

The prescription of new antidiabetics requires careful consideration of the indications and contraindications. In fact, unlike what happens with other therapeutic classes, the indications reimbursed concern only some specific associations with other drugs for diabetes, which vary from one molecule to another considering the specific clinical data of the patient.

In particular, the following treatments are considered:

- DPP-4 inhibitors (dipeptidyl-peptidase IV)
Alogliptin, Linagliptin, Saxagliptin, Sitagliptin, Vildagliptin

GLP-1 analogues (glucagon-like peptide 1)
Dulaglutide, Exenatide, Exenatide LAR, Liraglutide, Lixisenatide, Semaglutide

- SGLT2 inhibitors (sodium-glucose transport protein 2)
Canagliflozin, Dapagliflozin, Empagliflozin, Ertugliflozin

NADO also processes the document for printing the Therapeutic Plan or the blank prescription in the case of non-refundable treatments.

The results of the processing are intended to support the User Physician in his daily activity without disregarding the result of further diagnostic investigations and the interpretation of the User Physician himself: the output data must always be interpreted for the purpose of the therapeutic prescription or diagnosis by the user doctor on the basis of his certified professional ability.

The results provided by the App constitute a non-binding informative support for the Medical User in order to produce any medical prescription that must however follow for its formalization valid procedures and regulations.

NADO is a Class I Medical Device compliant with Directive 93/42 / EEC and can only be used by professionals registered in the Medical Association.
